担任《Hard To Get》MV导演的是曾获格莱美提名的新锐导演Matthew Dillon Cohen，在MV中，蔡徐坤演绎了三个迥然不同的角色：烛台前，虔诚地手插玫瑰的心灵信徒，昏暗灯光里端着酒杯落寞的沉思者，幽静丛林里疯狂追逐的小丑。闪回和光影构成的神秘元素，使整个MV充满了荒诞悬疑的色彩，一如朦胧爱意般扑朔迷离。意味深长的特写镜头，引人深思和遐想。MV结尾处，小丑摘下头套，脸上的孤独和惆怅溢于言表。

整首歌曲里流淌着一种深入骨髓的忧伤，在MV中，在蔡徐坤身边虽然簇拥着人群，却愈发显得他格格不入。无法用真面目彼此相见的爱，注定是孤独和落寞的。
